Service Matters is ceasing to provide external professional services

From 1 April 2018 Service Matters will no longer be providing external professional services. After more than 14 years, serving over 130 organisations, a new approach will be taken to support Orbit’s ambitious new future goals.

Since it was established in 2004, Service Matters’ has provided innovative and creative solutions for new and emerging business challenges, to both public and private sector customers. In its lifetime, Service Matters continuously delivered a range of pioneering professional services, events, webinars and insight. The surplus generated by this activity has greatly supported Orbit’s purpose of building communities. Our mission has been achieved.

We have helped our 130+ customers to achieve:

  • £9m in procurement savings
  • £3m in process improvement savings
  • Answered over 250,000 calls through our customer service centre
  • Issued over 7,000 assisted alarms
  • Identified over £3.9m in insurance savings

Afzal Ismail, Executive Director of Corporate Services at Orbit said “I am very proud of what Service Matters has accomplished.
