Case study - Woodlands Road

“It’s a real home now”

A re-development project has been completed in Stratford-upon-Avon with families now settled in 15 new three and four bedroom homes including two bungalows in Woodlands Road.

Graham Webb, a Woodlands Road resident for many years, said: “I’m thrilled to be back. It’s a real home now. We were in a three bed house before and we’ve moved back to this two bed bungalow which has such a lot of room. We’re very happy.”

Paul Cleaver, Orbit Heart of England Community Housing Officer, added: “As well as wide doorways that can accommodate wheelchairs, power showers and lockable sheds, the homes have solar panels and smart meters which help people with their energy bills. This re-development provides much-needed affordable homes to suit the requirements of both families and individuals within the area.”
