• Orbit golf day raises £18,000 for charity

    Orbit’s employees and partners have taken to the green and raised £18,000 for charity. Sponsored in the main by Deeley Construction and AC Lloyd, over 150 guests teed off at the housing provider’s Midlands summer golf day, raising thousands of pounds for mental health charity Mind and type 1 diabetes charity and research funder, JDRF.

    Staff and partners of Orbit, the UK’s leading developer of affordable homes chose to support Pilgrims Hospices for a second year in July at their annual Charity Golf Day at The Ridge Golf Club in Maidstone. Over 130 golfers from across the construction industry attended the 8th annual golf day helping to raise an incredible £13,351.09 for local hospice care.
