Orbit has been shortlisted in two categories in the Central TPAS Awards.
One shortlisting was for the Excellence in Digital Engagement award, with the entry detailing Orbit’s work to provide more interactive ways for customers to engage digitally. This included a sector-first – live chat – as well as integrating social media into its new website with a ‘chatter’ function. The entry also covered the work done to rationalise nine websites into one, and Orbit’s commitment to increase social media engagement by opening up more channels and resourcing social media (and live chat and email) with a dedicated multimedia customer service team.
The other shortlisting was within the Excellence in Youth Involvement category for Coventry Bootcamp. The entry was made in partnership with Whitefriars and Midland Heart. The comprehensive Bootcamp programme of training, education, confidence building, team working and opportunities for employment, education and training has built brighter, better futures for over 100 young people in Coventry.
The winners for the Central TPAS Awards will be announced on 6 March, with those winners going through to the national TPAS Awards. For those lucky enough to go through, the national winners will be revealed on 9 July.
