Here at Orbit we work hard to make sure we’re constantly improving our service to our customers. So far this year we’ve made some changes to how we do things which will mean our customers benefit from a better service. So what have we done? Well, some of our main improvements are:
- We have a new advice services team, concentrating on helping our customers sustain their tenancies in spite of welfare reform changes
- We have appointed an employment placement consultant whose job is to focus on identifying opportunities for work placements, traineeships and apprenticeships
- We have done a formal review of our repairs processes and improved them to make sure all our customers get an effective and timely service –find out about our new repairs standard.
- In the Midlands, we have a new maintenance partner, Willmott Dixon, working with us to improve our repairs service
These aren’t all of the changes we have made, but we hope they show that in just a few months we’ve put some better and different services in place. We are working on plenty more improvements behind the scenes, and are trying to think differently and try new things to meet our customers’ needs.
