Orbit Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Richards as its Executive Director of Customer Services.
Paul is highly experienced, with strong leadership skills and a clear passion for delivering excellent customer service. Paul has worked in customer-focused roles throughout his career including many years in the housing and property sector, most recently as Director of Customer Service for FirstPort Property Management (formerly Peverel).
Paul has also acted as a non-executive board member for 6,000-home Merlin Housing Association, and chaired Merlin Works – its in-house repairs and maintenance contractor.
With a history of successful commercial results and customer excellence in private and public sector organisations, Paul’s approach supports Orbit’s ‘Profit for a Purpose’ culture.

Paul will transition into the permanent role, having joined Orbit on an interim basis in January 2016, with a primary focus on delivering great customer service through Orbit’s maintenance and core landlord operations.
