Orbit Homes, part of the 39,000-home Orbit Group, is hosting its fourth annual charity golf day, to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.
Taking place at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club, Leek Wooton, on Thursday 9 July, the event is set to be the developer’s biggest and most successful golf day yet.
Over two hundred guests from the local business community are expected to attend the golf day, which concludes with a gala dinner and entertainment.
All proceeds raised at the event will be going to the Alzheimer’s Society, the UK's leading dementia support charity for people affected by dementia, their families and carers.
Last year’s golfers generated over £36,000 for local charity, Zoe’s Place baby hospice, helping them to continue offering palliative terminal care for babies and infants.
Orbit Homes’ head of construction and golf day organiser, George Obeng-Manu, says: “Over the last three years our legendary golf days have raised a fantastic £70,000 for charity. I’m delighted to be hosting the event for a fourth year – the day itself is always a lot of fun. Even if I don’t get that hole one, it will be great to get together with local businesses to raise more money for another worthy cause.”
