Orbit’s innovative change programme, Orbit 2020, has been named a finalist at the inaugural Employee Engagement Awards in the Non-Profit Project of the Year category.
The awards officially recognise organisations that strive to do things differently, challenge the status quo and put their employees at the heart of its operation. Orbit 2020, a ground breaking research and change programme launched in 2012, is transforming the way Orbit works, starting with the way the organisation communicates and engages its workforce ─ the awards shortlisting is testament to the ongoing success of this programme.
Tony Williams, executive director people, said, “We know that our people are our best asset which is why we are transforming our organisation from the inside out.
Our people have been able to shape the future of Orbit and the way we deliver our services and in doing so, have been able to have a real say in their own futures and careers.”
The winner will be revealed in an awards ceremony held at the end of January.
