Local contractors are being invited by Coventry based Orbit Heart of England Care & Repair team to submit expressions of interest in applying to join its list of approved contractors.
In partnership with Coventry City Council, Coventry Care & Repair run various schemes to enable the elderly, vulnerable and people who claim benefits or are on low incomes to finance repairs, improvements or adaptations to their homes. Care & Repair services also include a handyperson scheme, hospital discharge support and a crisis support service.
The Coventry Care & Repair team will soon be holding their annual Contractors’ Day. This is a chance for new and prospective contractors to meet the Orbit team and to apply to be considered for inclusion on the approved list. Application packs will be available on the day.
The Contractors’ Day will take place on Friday 26 February 2010 between 11:30am and 2:00pm.
