Orbit Homes have exciting plans to redevelopment the former Cattle Market site in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Plans for a £40million regeneration project of the site, which has stood redundant since the Cattle Market closed in 2001, include:
• Around 200 homes and apartments for sale, shared ownership and affordable rent
• Independent living with care housing, including facilities such as restaurant, cafe and health and beauty
• Landscaping key 'gateway' site of the town
• Investment in local infrastructure
The redevelopment of the Cattle Market is happening alongside proposals from Warwickshire County Council and London Midland to redevelop Stratford-upon-Avon rail station, which neighbours the Cattle Market site.
Orbit’s planning proposal for the site will be submitted this summer.
